More information

We’re excited to introduce our new Project Lead, Edward Phoenix, who took over from Eve Byers in May. Edward is eager to meet both our longstanding members and newcomers at this event. He’s been acquainting himself with the engagement and co-production team at Barnet Council, exploring ways to collaborate more closely to drive positive changes in the borough. Representatives from their team will also be present at the event, and we’re thrilled about this opportunity for everyone to connect.

This occasion promises not only informative discussions but also a social atmosphere with refreshments. It’s an opportunity to delve into the User Voice Project, share your feedback on priorities, and discuss where our focus should lie. There will be plenty of time for casual conversations, getting acquainted with new faces, and reconnecting with familiar ones, including our guest speaker and CEO, Caroline.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Who can attend?

Members: All members are welcome to join us for this informative and sociable occasion. To secure your spot, simply  follow the booking instructions above under the “Please book” heading.

Non-members: If you live, work or study in Barnet and aren’t a member yet but are intrigued by our work and considering becoming a member, you’re more than welcome to join us to learn more. Carers are also welcome to attend. Please do book a FREE place.

Purpose of the meetings

These meetings serve as a platform for disabled individuals in Barnet to make their voices heard. Key concerns and issues raised in these gatherings are relayed by us, anonymously, to various strategic meetings throughout the borough, including those with the Council, health and social care teams, and other community services in Barnet.

We’re excited to meet you and engage in meaningful discussions. For those new to User Voice, our project revolves around amplifying your voice as a member and ensuring it’s heard by the right people with the power to make change happen.  All members are invited to join and explore our plans for the User Voice projects, as well as discover how you can participate in our engaging initiatives within the borough.

Who will be there?

Edward Phonenix, User Voice Project Lead will be hosting the event. Other members of Inclusion Barnet staff, including our Communications and Engagement Team and CEO, Caroline Collier.
