Get involved

By becoming a member, you will be part of a growing community of disabled people and disadvantaged people in Barnet who understand the barriers you might be facing. We also welcome carers.

We hold regular members’ meetings where you can come together with other disabled people, including those experiencing long-term health conditions or mental health issues, and discuss your opinions and ideas about how equality can be achieved.

At our meetings we get to hear your stories and understand the issues most important to you and make sure we reflect your voices in everything we do.

Our members play a vital role in helping us to shape our campaigns, decide what campaigns to prioritise and inform our position on key issues that impact disabled people in Barnet and further afield.

Our Touchpoint service offers support for disabled people. In 2021-2022, we successfully supported claims of over half a million pounds in welfare benefits.
