Inclusion Barnet’s partnership libraries successfully launched!
We are delighted that Inclusion Barnet is now running two popular local libraries, East Barnet and South Friern, in partnership with Barnet Council. Libraries are natural community hubs and our vision is for them to be welcoming and inclusive for all members of our community. This has already begun with our inclusive volunteering opportunities. We have years of experience of supporting people from across of our local community and receive high approval ratings from our customers.
Inclusion Barnet is an established local charity with expertise in disabilities and mental health issues. We are a Deaf and Disabled People’s organisation, which means that the majority of our trustees and staff have lived experience of a disability themselves. This gives us valuable insight into how services can be made accessible and open to all.
Our Library Manager and Library Assistant are supported by an excellent team of volunteers. In order to support our planned extended library times from July 2017, we are looking for more volunteers. So why not get involved? Click here to find out how you can get involved and join our welcoming inclusive team.
