User Voice members’ meeting 20 March 2026

When you’re unwell, the little things matter – clear information, a quieter space, someone who gets how you communicate. Those reasonable adjustments (small changes that make services work for you) can turn a tough visit into a safer, calmer one.

At our next member meeting on Friday 20 March, 1.30–3.00pm (online via Zoom), a representative from the Royal Free NHS will join us to talk about reasonable adjustments in A&E at Barnet Hospital and the Urgent Care Centre at Chase Farm. This is part of a project called Connecting Health Communities by the Charity IVAR (Institute for voluntary action research).

Guest speaker Macius Kurowski, Group Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for Patients and Carers, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust will share:

  • What’s already changed and why
  • What still needs attention
  • How your experiences can guide the next steps

We’ll keep the session practical and honest. There’ll be a short update from Macius, then a guided open discussion. We’re aiming for realistic wins – the kind of improvements that genuinely help when you’re not feeling your best – while noting the bigger, longer-term issues too.

Other meeting agenda items are being finalised; the full agenda will follow soon, but you can sign up now:

Why your voice matters

We look forward to seeing you there!
