Nicole brings a number of years of working in the voluntary sector, financial services and the public sector in Human Resource Management.

Nicole is a trained Parent Champion where she signposts parents who need support with various services and is a trained Referral Order Panel Member, through the Youth Justice Services, who regularly sits on referral order panels.

She has been a volunteer with Healthwatch and Food-Cycle, and believes in helping others to get better outcomes for themselves, in whatever way she can.

Nicole has been both a Parent and Foundation Governor at Primary and Secondary School level. She also has lived experience of special educational needs (SEND) and Mental Health and believes she can draw upon her lived experiences in these areas to support others. Nicole is passionate about working with and supporting children and young people who have SEND, as a mother herself of children with additional needs.

It also gives me a greater sense in the passion, that I have for equality and inclusion”
