Fariha Haydari

Membership Development Officer

Fariha joined Inclusion Barnet in October 2024. Fariha is from Afghanistan and has worked in various roles throughout her career with a focus on helping her community, particularly women and girls. Her experience includes being a Project Manager, Acting Director, and Language Teacher. She has previously worked at organisations including the British Council, BRAC Afghanistan, UN-Women, and Kardan University in Afghanistan.

Fariha taught English to Hearing Impaired Learners using BSL at the Deaf Professional School, she describes connecting with and supporting her students during this program as an incredible experience.

I believe in Humanity and inclusion. No one is superior to another and everyone has the right to have equal access to the opportunities and resources out there. People in the community need each other’s help to survive in day-to-day life. “United we stand, Divided we fall.”
