Cat has worked in the charity sector for 25 years. She has worked across violence against women, homelessness, health, equality and Disabled rights. Her work has ranged from providing and managing peer and support services, to supporting charity networks and making sure people’s lived experiences are taken into account in Government decision making.

For the last 15 years she has specialised in charity communications, from running comms, to providing training programmes and consultancy to charities.

As a mental health lived experience advocate, Cat is passionate about making sure our experiences as Disabled people are heard and understood by the public and the media.
