Inclusion London and Inclusion Barnet GLA Hustings: Barnet and Camden Constituencies

Tuesday 20th April – 6.00pm

Inclusion Barnet, in conjunction with Inclusion London, are excited to announce that we will be holding a hustings ahead of the upcoming London Assembly elections.

The London Elects information booklet explains the role of the London Assembly thus:

“The Assembly acts as the eyes and ears of Londoners at City Hall.
Members hold the Mayor to account by examining Mayoral strategies,
decisions and actions to make sure they are in the public interest.”

Four of the five candidates for Barnet and Camden have confirmed that they will be in attendance to answer questions about how, if elected, they plan to ensure that disabled Londoners are given the consideration they deserve. They are:

Anne Clarke – Labour and Co-operative Party
Kirsten De Keyser – Green Party
Marisha Ray – Liberal Democrats
Mark G Simpson – ReformUK

We have received apologies from Conservative Party candidate Roberto Weeden-Sanz, who has sent a statement which we will share.

We hope you will join us for this amazing opportunity to hear directly from our Borough’s London Assembly candidates and ask them what they will do to make London more equal and more accessible for all.

Sign up and submit your questions in advance at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_yb2cuV60T4ygqgYGHlt6xA. The event will also be livestreamed on YouTube and made available to watch later.

BSL and live captioning will be provided. If you have any other access requirements, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing uservoice@inclusionbarnet.org.uk.

We look forward to seeing you there!
