More information

What is the meeting about?

Barnet Council has asked the Housing Learning and Improvement Network to assess the need for supported and specialist housing for a range of people.

What will we be discussing?

  • What is working/not working about the homes currently available?
  • What types of homes will be needed in the future?
  • When is supported housing a good option?
  • What support is needed to enable Disabled people to remain in mainstream housing?
  • What impact will the research have?

The council will use this evidence to produce a document outlining what types of homes are needed locally. The council will then discuss how these homes can be delivered with housing providers.

How is Inclusion Barnet involved?

We were contacted by the research company Housing LIN to ask is to reach out to local residents with an interest in accessible future housing.
