We are a peer-led Deaf and Disabled people’s organisation. Nearly all of our directors and staff have personal experience of disability, including mental health issues and chronic conditions. Everyday disabled people overcome barriers to access many things that non-disabled people take for granted. We believe that such experiences gives disabled people expertise in how society can be made more equal and inclusive. We exist to harness the strength and skills gained from our lived experience to improve the lives of disabled people and for the benefit of society more widely.
